Countries with Nuclear Weapons

Below is a listing of countries with nuclear weapons or are suspected to have nuclear weapons. As you know, there are far more countries with chemical weapons or biological weapons but these are far more difficult to use on unsuspecting populations.
With countries like the United States, Britain, Spain, and others in the coalition expressing their willingness to safeguard the world from the threat of weapons of mass destruction, this list may not grow at all in the future.
"The concern is North Korea becoming a nuclear Kmart, complete with blue-light specials," said Jon Wolfsthal, a nuclear proliferation expert at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Countries with Confirmed Nuclear Weapons

United States: About 7,600 to 9,300

Russia: About 8,500 to 9,500

China: About 400

France: 440 to 460

Britain: 185

India: 30 to 100

Pakistan: 15 to 50
